Breathalyzer yourself at KROQ’s 2009 Almost Acoustic Christmas!

Its that time of year again, time for KROQ’s Almost Acoustic Christmas! We are proud to announce we will have a booth setup with our FDA approved breathalyzers, and offer FREE test to anyone who would like to use it. Thats right, free! We are a nonprofit organization, and want to give people the tool they need to make it home after an amazing concert. Night 1 is Dec 12th with performances by AFI, Rise Against, Alice in Chains, Thirty Seconds to Mars, Three Days Grace, Anberlin, and Dead By Sunrise. Night 2 of KROQ’s ACX features Muse, 311, Slightly Stoopid, Phoenix, The Bravery, Metric, Vampire Weekend, Cage the Elephant, and White Rabbits. This is all going down at the Gibson Amphitheatre. Ron Artest admits to drinking alcohol at halftime

According to a recent interview with Sporting News magazine, Ron Artest admits to drinking alcohol during the halftime of games. Apparently while playing for Chicago in 1999-2002 Artest kept a bottle of Hennessy in his locker to drink during the break. In the interview he also comments on the brawl with Ben Wallace which got him suspended for the rest of the 2004 season. Artest said, “I see Ben, I’m on my guard now. I’m always in the mood to fight him. … I’ll get suspended 10 games, 15 games (because) I’ll just fight him right there. It won’t go into the stands.”
